Cingular Sues Sprint

Cingular announced Friday that it is suing rival wireless network Sprint over its avertising claim that Sprint is the most powerful network.

This is easily seen as just an act of revenge over the fact that Sprint recently filed suit alleging that Cingular's "fewest dropped calls" claim is misleading.

“Xbox Murders” Trial Set To Begin

Jury selection for the so-called “Xbox Murders” begins tomorrow in Deland, Florida. The jury will decide the fate of three of the four men implicated in the August 2004 slayings, which stemmed from a dispute over one of the accused’s Xbox.

AOL deletes link to "Cancel My Account" page after I publish link; deletes new links as I update. I learn AOL deleted Keyword "Cancel" from Keywords A-Z too. Deleting Keyword "Cancel" and "Cancel My Account" page breaks AOL's 1997 deal with Washington to make "Cancel My Account" info easy to find online.

Armless man busted for speeding?

A New Zealand man with no arms was caught driving 121 mph last week. He used one foot to steer and another to press the pedals. The man, who has never had a driver's license, was fined $170, prohibited from getting behind the wheel, and may also be charged with "dangerous driving."
